Life is busy, there is no denying! I want to absorb as much advice, guidance and knowledge as I can each day but I just don’t always have the time to sit down and read or watch something.
That is where my love for podcasts comes in, I cannot get enough of some of these fabulous women. I think of them as mentors and will listen to their little nuggets of wisdom whenever I get a chance, whether it be driving to or from work, on the treadmill, in the shower and on occasion I even pop in one headphone and listen whilst I am filling paperwork.
It’s inspiring to listen to fabulous women that have sat where I am sitting and changed their life through determination, hard work and a lot of self-belief.
Jenna describes her podcast as “the live-workshop style business podcast for creative girl bosses so you can train from the experts how to dig in, do the work, and tackle your goals along the way.”
The episodes are jam-packed with amazing advice and cover just about any business style you could think about. Jenna is fun to listen to and has a way of sounding very relatable, plus she has some amazing women on the podcast giving fabulous advice.
My current favourite episode: She saw a need and created her dream product with Lauren Napier.
The podcast is described as “A collective of top, savvy, badass, female entrepreneurs who share their insight and mindset, on how they did it their way to help other females succeed.”
Amanda is great at challenging your mindset and leaving you feeling motivated to make the career leap you feel is right for you. She also has a bunch of wildly successful women join her and discuss their high’s and lows.
Current Favourite Episode: Mistakes to avoid when making the leap from full time corporate to entrepreneurship.
You can expect the following out of a Cathy Heller podcast, “Each week, host Cathy Heller has honest conversations with successful creative entrepreneurs about the hands-on, practical steps to make a living doing what lights you up, and build a life that you can’t wait to wake up to every single day.”
Cathy is incredibly inspiring and the podcasts are enjoyable and informative. Listening to her gives me hope that one day I can make the leap from corporate position to a business owner.
Current favourite episode: Opportunity is all around us all the time.
These badass babes describe their podcast as “Being Boss is not about following a cookie-cutter formula for success or dwelling on the imperfections encountered along the way. It’s about you choosing to face the real-life experiences that come with building a business with honesty and grit. It’s about showing up as you are and doing the work and trusting that boss… you got this.”
I personally love this podcast series, it is empowering in all aspects of business and general Girl Boss situations. There are so many fantastic episodes to choose from in their catalogue that I feel like I am always finding new nuggets of wisdom and often like to listen with a pen handy. Check out their mini-episodes they are jam-packed with awesome advice!
Current favourite episode: The scientific method for bosses.
Earn your happiness is slightly different to the above podcasts, Lori and podcast can be summed up in the following “Lori Harder is a leading expert in the field of fitness, transformational work, mindfulness, and self-love. She has grown two multi-million dollar businesses as a successful entrepreneur and network marketing professional.”
Earn your happiness is a great podcast if you are looking for more than just business advice, Lori covers a whole range of lifestyle, mindfulness, health, fitness and business-related topics and you can tell she really believes and enjoys what she is talking about.
