Baby Hunt 2.0 Week 21

How far along: 21 weeks 6 days

Baby H2.0: Weighs 360 g and is 26.7 cm from crown to rump, about the size of an Endive, Baby Hunt 2.0 had a growth spurt this week.

Gender: Baby Hunt 2.0 is a GIRL!!!

Weight gain:+ 4 kg since we found out, my weight is starting to creep up and I am not too happy about it.

Sleep: Sleep is alright, I am still managing to get to sleep early but wake up a bit and struggle to get comfortable.

Symptoms: The bad groin pains are still hanging around I need to see a physio as I spoke to my doctor and she believes is a muscle issue.

Cravings / Aversions: I am having issues with smells a lot at the moment and I will start eating something and then all of a sudden feel sick and stop. We ordered pizza the other night because I was craving it and I literally had a few bites and then had to throw the rest of it out, even the idea that the pizza was sitting on the bench made me feel ill

Maternity Clothes: I am stretching these elastic waistband work pants as far as they go. I bought 2 new maternity bras and a singlet but still haven’t bought and real clothes items. I will see how much longer I can keep going, thank goodness all my work shirts are so baggy.

Exercise: Not at the moment, I am out of breath just walking up the stairs to work each day.

Mood: Loving this pregnancy and trying to enjoy it as my last!

Wedding rings: Off –  side note my engagement ring broke and I still haven’t fixed it which is why I am not wearing any rings at the moment

Belly Button in or out: It’s currently an innie, was the hold last pregnancy I am assuming it will stay the same.

Movement: She is kicking, mostly during the day but often in the evenings too. Not so much at night which is nice, Levi was a night kicker and he would keep me up.

What I miss: Being able to walk 5 minutes without losing my breath.

Preeclampsia: No signs.

Best moment of the week: Checking in with the doctor and hearing we are doing incredibly well.

Worst moment of the week: I accidentally said shit in front of Levi and he repeated it! Thankfully he hasn’t said it since but I feel like the worst parent ever.

What I am looking forward to: Planning the nursery and moving Levi into his big boy bed.

There you have the week 21 recap, I am really loving this pregnancy. I am lucky that both pregnancies have been so easy but I just want to soak this one up as much as I can as it is my last.

How did you feel mid way through?
