Relax in the bath with candles, a bath bomb and a good book.

Shutting off at night can be extremely hard, there are times when your brain just continues to turn and hopping into bed while your brain is looping around can lead to a night of interrupted and restless sleep.

There are so many successful leaders including Oprah, Ariana Huffington and so many more that combat this brain turmoil each night with a relaxing bath before bed. Taking the time out to stop thinking and switch off before getting into bed should be a go to routine whenever you are having a long day.

I have never really been one for bath bombs but after recently receiving a few as a gift I am slowly starting to understand the cult-like following of these relaxing little treats.

Reading in the bath is something I try to schedule each Sunday and am interested in perhaps adding a bath during the week as well. It may involve some reshuffling and rescheduling but I am interested to see if it will help with my mid week burn out.
