Baby Hunt 2.0 Week 18

How far along: 18 weeks

Baby H2.0: Weighs 190 g and is 14.2 cm from crown to rump, about the size of an artichoke!

Gender: Unknown, thinking I want to play around with a few gender prediction wives tales this weekend to see.

Weight gain:+ 3 kg since we found out, up by 900 grams this week. Here comes the added weight gain I think.

Sleep: Not the best week of sleep, I have had a lot of uni work to deal with this week so have been a little stressed which has kept me up a little bit.

Symptoms: The bad groin pains are back again this week, I am seriously considering buying a hemeroid pillow for my office so I can sit down with out getting up every 20 minutes to “walk the pain off”.

Cravings / Aversions: SBought hot sauce this week to add to everything, this spice craving is really full on! I wonder if I will still eat spicy food once the baby arrives as previously I couldn’t stomach anything even mildly spicy.

Maternity Clothes: I am holding out till 20 weeks before I buy anything new but have been wearing more flowly dresses as the weather warms up and that is helping.

Exercise: I am aiming for 5000 steps per day, with a 5 minute walk around my office every hour between 9am and 5pm.

Mood: Loving this pregnancy and trying to make the most of it.

Wedding rings: Off –  side note my engagement ring broke and I still haven’t fixed it which is why I am not wearing any rings at the moment

Belly Button in or out: It’s currently an innie, was the hold last pregnancy I am assuming it will stay the same.

Movement: I think I felt something Monday night when I rolled over only my side, I am hoping for more movement soon.

What I miss: Being able to sit without pain!

Preeclampsia: No signs.

Best moment of the week: Possibly feeling some movement.

Worst moment of the week: Dealing with uni stress.

What I am looking forward to: Putting up Christmas decorations hopefully next weekend.

There you have the week 18 recap, this has been a L-O-N-G week with uni and the current groin pain. I really need to speak to a doctor about the pain but I just don’t have time.

Did you have pregnancy groin pain that came and went every few weeks?
