Have you ever just stood in front of the mirror and stared at yourself for an extended period of time. I normally find the longer I stare the more imperfections and criticism I start finding within myself.
Saying positive affirmations out loud really has an impact on how you perceive yourself if you are willing to voice kind thoughts about yourself you are more likely to listen to them and mute the negative criticism.
Take time out of your morning routine and give yourself some positive affirmations, if you have trouble thinking what to say on the spot, then make a list beforehand and read them out loud. The could include things like:
I believe in myself.
I am a winner.
My strength is greater than any struggle.
I am fearless.
I am in awe of what my body can do.
I am who I want to be.
I can do this.
I know my strengths.
I have the power to change my story.
I am not afraid to be wrong.
Happiness is within reach.
I dare to be different.
I have a list all ready to go, some are very personal and others are more rounded like the ones listed above. I am hoping to continue to add daily affirmations into every morning routine and keep this moment going.
