How far along: 23 weeks 4 days
Baby H: weighs 501 g and is 28.9 cm from crown to heel, about the size of an Grapefruit.
Gender: Baby H is a BOY, you can read about the reveal HERE.
Total weight gain: + 2.5kg total which is 0.1kg gained since last week, once again my weight is still up and down.
Sleep: Some nights I sleep like a baby, some nights I lay awake counting down the minutes until I have to get up for work.
Symptoms: I strained my groin which means that I can barely walk, it also doesn’t help that little man has decided he wants to sit as low down in my pelvis (without being born) as he can so everything just aches all day and I waddle everywhere.
Cravings / Aversions: I have signed myself up for lite n easy which is great, once a week they deliver a weeks worth of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks so I just what is available and have noticed that cravings have gone.
Maternity Clothes: Bottoms are now maternity or leggings only and I am still managing to wear my old loose shirts but the buttons are starting to pop when I sit down so I think I need to get some new shirts.
Exercise: I am back at my prenatal aqua aerobic and yoga class which is helping with my hip pain but I have been told to avoid any real activity including walking as it will just exacerbate the issue.
Mood: Happy, Excited and slightly overwhelmed.
Wedding rings: on
Belly Button in or out: Its currently an innie.
Movement: He has started moving around a lot, so much so that the past 2 nights Dylan has finally been able to feel him.
What I miss: Being able to walk at a regular person pace.
Preaclampisa: No symptoms.
Best moment of the week: Seeing him again at another appointment, he is so low down that they couldn’t hear his heart with the doppler so had to check with an ultrasound and I got a sneak peak.
What I am looking forward to: Handing out all the baby shower invites and picking up supplies for it.
Another week bites the dust, I have been told by my doctors that the longest they will let me go is 35 weeks which just seems so close! I cannot wait to meet our little man, I just hope he is cooked well enough by then.
