How far along: 16 weeks 4 days
Baby H: weighs 100g and is 11.6 cm from crown to rump, about the size of an Dill Pickle
Gender: I have booked a special 3D scan to find out the sex of our baby on Friday night.
Total weight gain: + 2.4kg so I am up 500g from last week, as I have said before my weight is just a constant yoyo but I imagine it will begin to steadily gain soon.
Sleep: I have had a few issues with sleep this week, just struggling to fall asleep and also stay comfortable. I admit I have been sleeping on my stomach this week, I read that you should sleep on your left hand side but its hard, I am a tummy sleeper and its the only spot I feel totally comfortable.
Symptoms: Still getting pain in my lower back, dealing with a lot of sinus issues and headaches as well this week. I have also been super moody and I am just irritated by just about everyone I come in contact with. I was reminded to be kind to people at work today, obviously I am struggling if I have to be reminded.
Cravings / Aversions: I had another major craving for smoked salmon this week so bought some and heated it up as I am really worried about the whole listeria thing. I have also been craving citrus and thankfully my local supermarket has amazing oranges at the moment.
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing loose tops and stretchy work pants that are 1 size bigger than I usually buy. I imagine these will last me for at least a couple more months until I am close to popping.
Exercise: Still aiming for 5000 steps per day and 3 workouts a week for around 20 mins depending on how I am feeling.
Mood: Stressed, anxious, irritated and annoyed.
Wedding rings: on
Belly Button in or out: Its currently an innie.
Movement: I thought I felt a flutter a couple of days ago but I am not 100% sure.
What I miss: Coffee
Preaclampisa: Still no warning signs or symptoms yet thankfully.
Best moment of the week: Went to my pregnancy & transplant specialist on Monday, everything is working perfectly.
What I am looking forward to: Getting to hopefully find out the sex of our baby on Friday night.
It has been a pretty stressful week for me and I am really looking forward to the end of the week, honestly Friday cannot come soon enough!
I have really noticed a issues with my mood this week and I wonder whether it is pregnancy related or if its just because I am having such a bad week at work.
Do you have any suggestions to help with my mood?
