How far along: 14 weeks 4 days
Baby H: weighs 43g and is 8.7 cm from crown to rump, about the size of a beet.
Gender: Still waiting to find out, I am hoping to find out in the coming weeks.
Total weight gain: + 2.2kg but it still jumping up and down depending on the day.
Sleep: Finally getting back into a normal sleep routine, going to bed around 9:30 and waking up only once or twice to go to the bathroom.
Symptoms: Pain in my lower back in the afternoons if I don’t do enough walking during the day. Noticing a lot of sinus issues and ear aches in the morning when I wake up which I am not loving.
Cravings / Aversions: Still craving fresh fruit, peaches in particular. Still no major aversions.
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing loose tops and I bought some larger sized work pants that are stretchy and pull on pants so that should help me through the next couple months as I am having trouble finding XXL maternity pants. I did buy some great maternity jeans and tops from ASOS which I wore this weekend and loved.
Exercise: Still aiming for 5000 steps per day and 3 workouts a week for around 20 mins depending on how I am feeling.
Mood: Super positive and happy
Wedding rings: on
Belly Button in or out: Its currently an innie.
Movement: No movement yet, too early.
What I miss: Coke, what I wouldn’t do for a ice cold coke.
Preaclampisa: Saw a specialist today that will check me every couple of months. No sign of preaclampisa and my blog pressure was 115/70 which they are very happy with, I just hope it continues this well.
Best moment of the week: Noticing my B belly is starting to turn into more of a D belly.
What I am looking forward to: Spending this Fathers Day with Dylan and pampering him a bit, technically he is not an actual father yet but any excuse for me to do something silly and special for Dyl is what I am all about.
Still working on the belly bump selfies, I don’t get home till late at the moment so I have no natural light and lets be honest Dylan is certainly no super photographer but I imagine they will get better as we get further along.
