Meal Planning

I am trying to organise my life at the moment because things seem to have hit the fan and gone everywhere. I am sure you have all noticed my lack of blogging which has also extend into other area’s of my life.

Well it’s time to crack out my diary and start creating a bunch of lists to get everything back on track!

I have gone back to basics and begun meal planning again, I know it may seem like a simple thing but I find it greatly helps to ward off the 5:30pm-too-tired-lets-get-takeaway vibes that I have been dealing with lately.

So below is my meal plan for this week Monday 15th till Sunday 21st August, you will notice a large amount of salads for lunch, as the weather starts to warm up I really don’t feel like a big heavy meal and salads just seem to be calling my name. However I get lazy and tend to buy prepackaged salads from the supermarket downstairs (downside to working a shopping centre). This is obviously costing me and arm and a leg each day plus the amount of plastic that these salads come with is just not okay.


Monday:

Breakfast – Banana & Oat Smoothie

Lunch – “Caeser” Salad and 2 Nectarines

Dinner – Mexican Quesadilla’s

Snacks – Fresh Fruit & 1 large banana mylk


Tuesday:

Breakfast – Peachy keen Smoothie

Lunch – Fattoush Salad

Dinner – Pumpkin & Spinach Spaghetti

Snacks – 1 large banana mylk and Peach nice cream


Wednesday:

Breakfast – Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

Lunch – Mexican Salad

Dinner – Black Bean Tofu & Rice

Snacks – Fresh Fruit and 1 large banana mylk


Thursday:

Breakfast – Banana & Oat Smoothie

Lunch – Fattoush Salad

Dinner – Red Lentil Chilli

Snacks – Raspberry nice cream


Friday:

Breakfast – Peachy Keen Smoothie

Lunch – Mexican Salad

Dinner – Resturant

Snacks – Fresh Fruit


Saturday:

Breakfast – Banana Pancakes

Lunch – Leftovers

Dinner – Nachos

Snacks – Chocolate nice cream, Fresh Fruit & 1 Large Banana Mylk


Sunday:

Breakfast – Big Breakfast

Lunch – Leftovers

Dinner – Oven baked fries

Snacks – Fresh Fruit


So there you have this week’s meal plan, I will en-devour to post as much as I can on social media so that you can follow along and help keep me motivated. I will also be posting recipes throughout the week after I have created my meals so keep an eye out for that.
